Upon arrival at Saigon Station, you will be warmly welcomed and guided to board the train. Thanks to the attentive staff, all preparations and procedures are carried out smoothly, helping you to completely relax before the trip.

As dusk approaches, at around 06:00 PM, do your finest attire and join fellow travelers in the opulent restaurant.

As the evening progresses, indulge in a sumptuous dinner crafted to tantalize your taste buds. Each course reveals culinary artistry, seamlessly paired with fine wines or expertly mixed cocktails.

In the soft glow of dawn, passengers stir - still drowsy, yet filled with anticipation. As the train glides through the outskirts, the rural landscape of Northern Vietnam unfolds like an ink-wash painting: red-tiled roofs peeking through rows of areca palms, lush green rice fields glistening with morning dew, and winding dirt paths weaving through the countryside. During this serene journey, guests enjoy breakfast.

Insurance
We strongly recommend securing travel insurance as soon as you book your journey. For assistance with arranging insurance coverage, please reach out to your travel agent or contact the SJourney Reservations Office, who will be happy to guide you through the process.
We recommend that all flights are booked through your tour operator or travel agent. We advise that passengers do not book flights more than three months prior to tour departure and that where possible flight tickets are fully refundable.

Your journey begins with a convenient pickup service between 4:30-5:30 PM, where our professional guide and driver will meet you either at your hotel lobby or at a pre-arranged meeting point.
Upon arrival at the train station in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, you will be escorted to our exclusive VIP lounge to begin your SJourney experience. Rest assured that your luggage will be carefully tagged and delivered directly to your personal cabin.
Throughout your journey, our qualified English-speaking guides will accompany you on all sightseeing tours and excursions.
When visiting temples and traditional pagodas, we kindly request that you show respect for local customs and cultural practices.
For your safety and the best experience, please stay with your guide and follow their instructions at all stops along the way.
In-Cabin Amenities
Each cabin is thoughtfully equipped with a comprehensive amenity kit containing shower cream, shampoo, and conditioner for your personal care needs.
For additional comfort, we provide a hairdryer, plush bathrobes, comfortable slippers, and fresh towels throughout your journey.
Electrical Facilities
Your cabin is fitted with 220V (AC) power sockets, suitable for charging your devices and using electric shavers. International adapters are not available onboard, so we kindly request you to bring your own.
Please understand that occasional brief power interruptions may be necessary during servicing periods.
Luggage Facilities
We offer convenient under-bed storage in each cabin to accommodate your belongings. Each guest is permitted to bring one suitcase up to 24 inches in size, plus one piece of hand luggage up to 20 inches.
Internet & Communication
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout your journey. While mobile phone reception may vary during travel, you’re welcome to use electronic devices within your private cabin.
To preserve the traditional atmosphere of train travel, we don’t provide radios or televisions onboard. We recommend checking with your mobile service provider regarding network settings before your journey.
Cabin Services
Our attentive cabin attendants are available 24 hours a day and can be reached via your cabin’s call button. You will enjoy daily housekeeping service and evening turndown service.
The Train Manager and Deputy Train Manager are always available to assist with any queries you may have during your journey.

Children and Families
We welcome families with children aged 5 years and above on our journey. While we do not provide child-minding facilities, we ask parents to ensure their children maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the train through quiet and respectful behavior.

Your tour price includes all gratuities for our staff, including crew members, hoteliers, and drivers. Rather than offering additional tips, we encourage you to notify management of any exceptional service you receive.
Medical and Mobility Considerations
Each guest must ensure they are physically capable of participating in the journey’s activities. While we provide basic first aid through trained staff members, please note that there is no doctor onboard.
We require advance notification of any medical conditions. Our train cannot accommodate wheelchair users, and guests with mobility limitations should travel with an able-bodied companion.
Technology and Communications
We provide Wi-Fi service throughout the train, though mobile reception may vary during travel. To maintain a peaceful environment, please use mobile devices only within your cabin.

General Guidelines
Smoking and pets (including emotional-support animals) are not permitted onboard.
We invite you to inform us of any special occasions during your reservation. While English is our primary language for tours, other languages may be available upon request with advance notice.
During daytime hours aboard the train, we maintain a smart casual dress code that combines neat, conventional style with comfortable elegance.
For evening dinner service, we observe formal attire: gentlemen are required to wear a collar and tie (jackets are optional), while ladies are invited to wear cocktail or evening dresses, or elegant suits.
For off-train excursions, we recommend comfortable walking shoes and appropriate sun protection, including hats and sunscreen. Blankets and rain capes are available upon request for your comfort during outdoor activities.
For your security, all cabin doors and train passage doors are equipped with interior locks. We recommend keeping your window curtains closed when you’re not in your cabin and remaining vigilant when passing through stations.
