Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our driver and tour guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel. Check in time is 14h00.
In the afternoon, you will take a half-day city tour to visit outside of Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica (is renovating until 2022), a neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles, Saigon Central Post Office, which was designed and constructed in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. Then, visit the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. You also have free time to go shopping at Ben Thanh Market.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for Vinh Long. The program will start at Cái Thia village of Caibe district in Tien Giang province. Come to Mrs Năm’s family to see how she makes rice paper in more than 60 years.
We have one more option to see more about Mekong Delta if we have a biking trip in one hour to explore the famous village of Hoa Loc mango on the small beautiful roads. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood or palm leaves in Mekong Delta… Come to a local and peaceful home, we can create some local cakes and taste it with hot tea. After biking, we’ll come back Cai Thia village.
Be on our boat and enjoy the best lunch on boat when the boat is towards to An Binh Island.
An optional stop can be made at Út Trinh garden to visit their old house, orchards, and enjoy some fruits. Walk to the local workshop where you can see how to make coconut candy and pop-rice… Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea.
Boat to visit the brick kilns to see how they make potteries. After getting along some floating houses and fish farms, we cross the mighty Mekong and finish the boat trip in Vinh Long. Return to Hochiminh City.

08.30 pick up at your hotel.
After pick-up at your hotel, you enjoy a half day excursion to the famous Cu Chi tunnels. This network of tunnels, which stretched for over 200km, became legendary during the 1960s.
Cu Chi tunnels played a vital part in the U.S.-Vietnam War in that they allowed the Viet Cong to control a large rural area only 30 to 40 km from former Saigon . At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border. The network, parts of which were several levels deep, included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens.
Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and feel of what underground life during the war must have been like. The tunnels have been widened for our benefit (otherwise we would not be able to enter them!) For those interested there’s even the opportunity to try an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range.
