The 3-day, 2-night Hanoi-Halong package offers a comprehensive experience of Northern Vietnam’s cultural and natural highlights. The tour begins with a half-day city tour in Hanoi, visiting the Museum of Ethnology and the Old Quarter, followed by an evening water puppet show. On the second day, guests journey to Halong Bay, enjoy a scenic cruise, explore the Dark and Bright grotto via kayaking or sampan, and participate in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. The final day includes a Tai Chi session, a visit to Trung Trang Cave, and concludes with a brunch before returning to Hanoi.

Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our driver and tour guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Museum of Ethnology and then get back central Hanoi for a 45-min cyclo tour through the Old Quarter famous for its 36 streets. Conclude the day by watching an exciting water puppet performance, a unique art form of Northern Vietnam, said to have originated in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta. The performance uses colourful wooden puppets to depict scenes of rural life and periods of nation’s history set to music. Overnight in Hanoi.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Transfer Hanoi – Halong by shuttle bus Depart for a 2.5 hour journey to Halong Bay. Make a stop en route for some refreshment (around 15-20 minutes)
12:00 Arrive Tuan Chau habour Guests are transferred by speedboat/tender from Indochina Sails’ Tuan Chau Pier to Indochine Cruise – enjoy welcome drink, listen cruise briefing and safety instructions
13:15-14:00: Passengers enjoy the International Buffet Lunch.
14:45-16:30: The crew take passengers visit the Dark and Bright (also known as Bat Cave) grotto is not only known for the stunning limestone structure at every turn but also for the interesting natural habitat. The best way to explore this cave is doing kayaking or bamboo sampan drive by local people through the tunnel so you will spend mostly your time relaxing and enjoy the quiet and natural place (This is the UNESCO Heritage site and also the nature reserve area of Cat Ba National Park of Lan Ha Bay)
17:30: Depart and sail to anchor overnight
18:30-19:00: Attend the Cooking Demonstration led by our Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef showing the guests how we decorate and make some traditional Vietnamese foods.
19:30: Menu Dinner is served.Set
22:00: End of Program for Day 1.

6:30: Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
6:45: Enjoy Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.
7:15-8:45: The crew take passengers visit the Trung Trang Cave known locally as “gold treasure” with many unique things. Discovering the Trung Trang Cave makes visitors very excited, feeling like they are lost in heaven in the ground.
9:00: Return to the Indochine Cruise. Guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins.
9:30: Enjoy the breakfast buffet in the dining room, consisting of both Vietnamese and international dishes. Bills are settled after breakfast. We approach the harbor while we cruise, giving you the opportunity to soak up the last of the magical atmosphere of Lan Ha from the sundeck.
11:00 Arrive at Indochina Sails’ Pier at Tuan Chau Port.
Shuttle bus transfer back to Hanoi
