Itinerary

Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival & Half Day City Tour

Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our driver and tour guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Museum of Ethnology and Hoa Lo Prison. Conclude the day by watching an exciting water puppet performance, a unique art form of Northern Vietnam, said to have originated in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta. The performance uses colourful wooden puppets to depict scenes of rural life and periods of nation’s history set to music. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi Full Day City Tour

08.30 pick up at your hotel in Hanoi.

This full day tour takes you around Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his Stilts House, the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda and, nearby, the Old Quarter also known as the 36 streets and guilds. Also on the tour, the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature and one of the city’s museums.

From here, you will enjoy a one hour cyclo tour of Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, the focal point of the city. Then stop at vintage coffee shop, where you sit on very small chairs as is the special style of Hanoi, to start a day by tasting a cup of Vietnamese coffee. This also offers a perfect opportunity for people-watching, to get a better idea of the daily activities of the locals.
